During the course of the year Reel Chase offers incredible fishing along this incredible stretch of the Great Barrier Reef.

These systems are teeming with every possible saltwater species you could ever want to tackle.

This is a very remote location even today and the waters are described as the most pristine along the entire stretch of the Great Barrier Reef.

You’ve arrived at world class heavy tackle marlin grounds for 1000lb fish, the world’s best GT fishing locations where 40 monster GT’s per day is possible and the light tackle fishing and jigging for an array of pelagic and reef species is mind blowing.

You’ll be treated to a fun filled trip experiencing all these fishing styles using only state of the art fishing gear - heavy tackle, light tackle, popper fishing, jigging and lure casting. It’s the ultimate bluewater experience that you will never forget and the following is a list of species you are likely to encounter: black marlin, wahoo, yellowfin tuna, dogtooth tuna, dolphin fish, spanish mackerel, giant trevally, red bass and coral trout.

All clients will stay on the beautifully appointed Amokura vessel and be pampered by our onboard chef with mouth watering meals.

Depending on our schedule departures are from either Port Douglas, Cooktown or Lizard Island.
