Fishing on the Great Barrier Reef.

5 Days / 4 Nights aboard Amokura - 57ft Assegai Vessel and 6m Centre Console Sport Fisher.

Light Tackle, popper fishing, jigging.

Targeted species: small black marlin, giant trevally, spanish mackerel, dog tooth tuna, yellowfin tuna, coral trout.

Locations: Undine Sand Cay, Mackay Sand Cay, Hope Island, Ribbon Reefs and St. Crispin's Reef.

Itinerary utilising both vessels

Day 1:
Fish the productive waters north of Port Douglas taking in the beautiful sights of the Undine and Mackay Sand Cays before arriving at the stunning and historical Hope Island Group. Enjoy a sumptuous evening BBQ on the Hope Island taking in the stunning views of the coastal Daintree Rainforest.

Day2:
Fish the productive waters east from Hope Island crossing the entire width of the great barrier reef and fishing a myriad of pristine reef systems along the way. Arrive at the famous Ribbon Reefs for the evening anchorage.

Day 3 & 4:
Fish the endless opportunities on the Ribbon Reefs and the edge of the continental shelf. On day 4 the operation will work its way south to the St.Crispin's Reef system for the evening anchorage.

Day 5:
Fish the St.Crispin's reef area, famous for its intricate maze of reef systems ideal for the targeting the Giant Trevally amongst a host of others. Return to base by late afternoon.
